uXu interview of The Chief:
Yo! When were you born?
I'm among the oldest in Generation-X.
Have you been writing for a long time?
Not really, but I have always enjoyed reading a lot. I've been writing
actively for at least ten years now. And I still love it!
Hobbies?
Spending time with my SO or finding a new one. Drinking. Smoking. I'm
more or less addicted to all sorts of strange indie concerts and things
like that. Sorting email...
How was school?
Don't talk to me about school! It's pure luck I survived! I guess it
made me stronger though... and I learned some english. It's not thanks
to school I still know it though!
What is "the system" to you?
It's man made, and it has been constructed to serve a few and making
the rest suffer without them knowing about it. I'll be the first to start
throwing rocks when the the shit starts crumbling.
Is there some kind of people you are more likely to find interesting?
Mostly people who are like myself. Strong, bright, tough and rough.
The ones who really displays their personality without using the common
tricks of the global masquerade.
What kind of people do you loathe?
People hiding within themselves. Ignorant people. People without opinions
and without their own personality. The stupid and the obeying. The people
with an outside, but without an inside.
Do you fancy cops?
No way. The pigs are nothing more than another sick part of the system.
The system can't live without them, and they can't live without the system.
Both will fall, and it's going to be one hell of a sight watching them
go down.
What does the Internet mean to you?
The internet is a wonderful display of what idealism can do without
commercialism. It should become a symbol for what can be done, without
the greedy hands of the market. Even though the Internet is more and more
exploited by commercial interests, I think the other parts - the underground
for instance - can co-exist, just as it is in the 'real' world. Without
the system, there would be no underground, and vice verse.
What do you want to do for the rest of your life?
What I really want is to change the world into a better place than
what it is today. I want my kids to have a better world to live in than
I had. Perhaps I am not really talking about anarchy, but I want a state
of order that allows anyone to do what they wish. No control from above
nor from down below. Maybe the best form of order is the lack of it, as
I just described. Anarchy? You decide.
The world is going under, what do you do?
Right now? I'd meet up with as many people as I could and party to
the end of the world, literally. Go with a blast, being plastered!
You have any last words to the readers?
I have three words for all of you out there; Read, read and read!
