Remember there is no music rules what so ever among cyberpunks.
But there was an Industrial movement during the eighties and there still is.
When it comes to music, the cyberpunks listen to some of the old punk, alternative, progressive, heavy metal, Goth, New Wave, industrial, and techno music.
Why electronic ? The answer is quite simple.
There are some few music bands that associates themselfes with the cyberpunk movement.
Some example of these bands is specially :
"Skinny Puppy" they have become very famous among cyberpunks. Skinny Puppy´s their songs are about many things cyberpunks can rely themselfs to.
"Front 242" is one of mine favorite bands, they play hard electronic body music.
