Unorganized at this point; not in any particular order. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Double Cross* by Sam and Chuck Giancana. (New York: Warner Books, 1992) Supports much of what Skolnick has said. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Secret And Suppressed* edited by Jim Keith. (Feral House) Good overview. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Awful Disclosures of the Hotel Dieu Nunnery of Montreal* by Maria Monk Must reading if you had a strict Catholic upbringing. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Proofs of a Conspiracy* by John Robison A classic; often referred to. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *"Slick Willie" II* by Deborah J. Stone & Christopher Manion. (Annapolis: Annapolis-Washington Book Publishers, 1994) Bill Clinton, a *capo* of organized crime, just wears a suit, smiles, says he's a Yale man -- and "liberated" women, "liberated" but still stupid, swoon and vote him into office. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Clinton Chronicles BOOK* by Citizens For Honest Government. (Jeremiah Books, PO Box 1800, Hemet, CA) "Capo" Clinton confers with his mob buddies and then gets to pretend he's the U.S. President. "Liberated" women swoon when he comes on TV and gives that faraway look. You should have just been a cheap crooner, Billy. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Project Seek* by Gerald Carroll. (Bridger House Publishers, 1- 800-729-4131) Author Carroll takes the Gemstone Thesis as his lead and proceeds to corroborate it with whatever facts he can dig up. This book will send your mind beyond Pluto. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Immaculate Deception* by Russell S. Bowen. (America West Publishers, Carson City, Nevada. 1991). Before the current mobster Clinton pretended to be in charge, *capo di capo* George Bush and his cohorts in crime had a fu**ing good time robbing us all blind. Read all about it. Heh-heh, "No new taxes." ;-) + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States* by Samuel F. B. Morse. Yes, this was written by the inventor of Morse code. All about how the Pope sends his priests throughout the world and how they spy for him. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Defrauding America* by Rodney Stich. (Diablo Western Press, 1994. Phone: 1-800-247-7389) Comedian and activist Dick Gregory says that this book belongs on top of the family Bible. In other words, read this book, *then* read the Bible. "Makes the Godfather Saga Pale by Comparison" says the front cover. All about the cockroaches behind such things as October Surprise, Inslaw, "War on Drugs", BCCI, BNL, S&L failures, Bush, Clinton. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Franklin Cover-Up* by John W. DeCamp. (AWT, Inc. Lincoln, Nebraska.) "Child Abuse, Satanism, and Murder in Nebraska." More stories about cockroaches who wear suits and ties. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Little School* by Alicia Partnoy. (Cleis Press, 1986) "Tales of disappearance & survival in Argentina". You may have heard of *los desaparecidos* -- thousands of Argentine activists from the late 1970s who just "disappeared". We now know that the Argentine government was dropping them out of airplanes into the Atlantic Ocean. Aren't you glad you live in the USA -- "the Magic Kingdom" -- where these sorts of things never happen? + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *50 Greatest Conspiracies of All Time* by Jonathan Vankin & John Whalen. (New York: Citadel Press, 1995) As seen in a very brief shot on "X Files". + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Dope, Inc.* by the Editors of Executive Intelligence Review. (Washington, DC: Executive Intelligence Review, 1992) Written by the folks surrounding that wacky Frenchman, Lyndon LaRouche. I've got to hand it to the LaRouchies, they've really done some trailblazing in this area. But beware that the book is not well organized. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Media Monopoly* by Ben Bagdikian. (Boston: Beacon Press, 1990) Documents how the media is owned by an incestuous clique who (of course) tend to put *their* interests ahead of *your* interests. If the truth gets lost in the process, hey: just hire some academics to tell folks that "the truth is relative". + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Poison By Prescription* by John Lauritsen. (New York: Asklepios, 1990) Lauritsen says that Burroughs Wellcome bribed FDA to approve AZT, a drug that Peter Duesberg has called "pure poison". If HIV doesn't kill you, the AZT sure will. (CN -- Meanwhile, while thousands die because of this scam, the state's "thought police" use esoteric language to throw dust in the eyes of critics.) + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *AIDS And The Doctors of Death* by Alan Cantwell Jr., M.D. (Los Angeles: Aries Rising Press, 1988) Would the government *purposely* infect people with AIDS? Just ask those who were exposed to radiation in the 1950s. This is the book that so upset "non woof". + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Queer Blood* by Alan Cantwell Jr., M.D. (Los Angeles: Aries Rising Press, 1993) Cantwell (see previous) *insists* that there is/was a "secret AIDS genocide plot". If the Nazis did it, why not the U.S. government? + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Cocaine Politics* by Peter Dale Scott and Jonathan Marshall. (Berkeley: University of California Press, 1991) More laughs as we see that the U.S. first *imports* the drugs, then has a "war on drugs"!! Ha ha ha, what a bunch of jokers. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *AIDS Inc.* by Jon Rappoport. (Foster City, CA: Human Energy Press, 1988) Rappoport calls it the "Scandal of the Century" but, as the other books mentioned here attest, it's just one of many. Still, it's definitely made the CN list of recommended books. "The organization responsible for finding an AIDS cure, NIH, operates in certain respects like any large corporation. Its cast of characters is production-oriented, competitive. Top-flight players try to establish domination, cut divergent thinkers out of the budget." AIDS has become big business -- AIDS Inc. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING- The Suppressed Truth By Jon Rappoport. (Blue Press, 2633 Lincoln Blvd. Ste 256, Santa Monica, CA 90405. 213-243-9005) Rappoport strikes again, this time with an excellent summarization of what we know so far about the ongoing cover-up vis-a-vis the OKC bombing. He ties it all together to offer a good look at the *real* picture. One CN reader criticized that Rappoport's book offers nothing not already known by the "community" of those honestly looking into the tragedy: (1) I disagree. The book had info that even I hadn't heard; (2) the "community" of investigators? Sounds a bit exclusive, no? Why not share our info, as Rappoport is doing? + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Killing The Spirit* by Page Smith. (New York: Penguin, 1990) A history of higher education in America. Gone are the threadbare, nineteenth-century scholars who yearned for truth. "Academic fundamentalism is the issue, the stubborn refusal of the academy to acknowledge any truth that does not conform to professorial dogmas. In the famous 'market place of ideas,' where all ideas are equal and where there must be no 'value judgements' and therefore no values, certain ideas are simply excluded." + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *High Treason* by Robert J. Groden and Harrison Edward Livingstone. (New York: Berkley Books, 1990) Guess what? There was a conspiracy behind the JFK assassination. Guess what else? Those in power have been hiding the truth from the American public. But just watch silly sports shows and leave consequences to your children. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Conspiracies, Cover-Ups and Crimes* by Jonathan Vankin. (New York: Dell, 1992). Good overview of various conspiracies. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Votescam* by James M. Collier and Kenneth F. Collier. (New York: Victoria House Press, 1992) Not sure I entirely believe this one, but parts at least are (I think) true. Something else worth looking into, now that the HIGHLY IMPORTANT O.J. Simpson trial is over. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *What Uncle Sam Really Wants* by Noam Chomsky. (Berkeley: Odonian Press, 1992) "The Noamster" gives 'em hell, but conspiracies? No, Noam don't see no conspiracies 'round here. Still, Noam cuts through a lot of nonsense and gives a realistic view of what the U.S. government has been up to. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Prosperous Few and the Restless Many* by Noam Chomsky. (Berkeley: Odonian Press, 1993) "St. Noam" returns and rips apart many illusions about "our" government. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Decline and Fall of the American Empire* by Gore Vidal. (Berkeley: Odonian Press, 1992) Vidal offers an intelligent look at the National Security State. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The CIA's Greatest Hits* by Mark Zepezauer. (Tucson: Odonian Press, 1994) CIA 101: Intro To CIA. If you are tuning in late and want to "get the gist" of this CIA stuff, here is a good intro. Great cartoons add to the text. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Who Will Tell The People* by William Greider. (New York: Simon & Schuster, 1992). "The betrayal of American democracy". "The blunt message of this book is that American democracy is in much deeper trouble than most people wish to acknowledge." Greider examines how the big corporations have grown extraordinarily powerful. One of my favorite quotes from the book: In the end, the educated city room betrayed its promise. When the quick but unschooled working-class reporters were displaced and the well-educated took over the work, that social dislocation might have been justifiable if the news media were going to serve democracy more effectively, if the educated reporters were using their professional skills to enhance citizens' ability to cope with power in a more complicated world. The educated reporters instead secured a comfortable place for themselves among the other governing elites. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Fooling America* by Robert Parry. (New York: William Morrow and Company, 1992) More info on how we are being lied to. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Compromised: Clinton, Bush and the CIA* by Terry Reed & John Cummings. (New York: Shapolsky Publishers, 1994) Tales of cheap crooks who wear suits and say they love America. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Censored: The News That Didn't Make The News -- And Why* by Carl Jensen and "Project Censored". (Years: 1993, 1994, 1995. Publishers thus far have been Shelburne Press and Four Walls Eight Windows) Each year, Project Censored publishes what they call their "Top 25 Censored Stories" of the year. If you want to get some clues about what has been going on, besides stupid Menendez trials and Billy Clinton wearing a suit, read all about it. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Making Medicine, Making Money* by Donald Drake and Marian Uhlman. (Kansas City: Andrews and McMeel, 1993). "Prescription drug prices rose three times faster than inflation in the last decade, making the drug industry the nation's most profitable business... Drug companies increase prices without fear, protected from competition... Drug companies benefit substantially from government and academic research and then turn around and slap premium prices on drugs developed at taxpayer expense." + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *It's A Conspiracy!* by "The National Insecurity Council". (Berkeley: Earth Works Press, 1992) Good overview of conspiracy "theories". + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *The Big White Lie* by Michael Levine. (New York: Thunder's Mouth Press, 1993) More great big laughs about the (ha ha ha) "War on Drugs" where parts of the government bring in the drugs and then other parts of the government fight the drugs. Truly hilarious, except for, as ex-DEA agent Levine points out in the dedication of his book, "law enforcement officers who have died trying to take drugs off the street". Oh-oh. Somebody'd better call "Walker: Texas Ranger" and have him investigate! + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Deep Politics and the Death of JFK* by Peter Dale Scott. (Berkeley: University of California Press, 1993) Yes, it's true, mobsters and CIA killed the U.S. President yet your children go to school and are taught otherwise. Time to call in the young cops from "New York Undercover" to "go undercover" -- ha ha ha. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Note that some of the above books may be hard to get hold of: e.g., out of print, not in the library, etc. A-albionic may be able to help you obtain some of these books: Contact jhdaugh@a-albionic.com ----------------------------------------------------------------- I encourage distribution of "Conspiracy Nation." ----------------------------------------------------------------- For information on how to receive the new Conspiracy Nation Newsletter, send an e-mail message to bigred@shout.net ----------------------------------------------------------------- If you would like "Conspiracy Nation" sent to your e-mail address, send a message in the form "subscribe conspire My Name" to listproc@prairienet.org -- To cancel, send a message in the form "unsubscribe conspire" to listproc@prairienet.org ----------------------------------------------------------------- Want to know more about Whitewater, Oklahoma City bombing, etc?
