The Fenris Wolf is the wolf that devours the sun at the end of the world,
"Ragnarök", in the old Scandinavian mythology. As such, it
can be seen as "evil", "destructive", etc, but only
to a certain sense. Because if the wolf doesn't do it, how will a new world
be allowed to be created, to emerge from the ashes?
The Fenris Wolf is also the name of an occult journal. I published the
first issue as a magazine way back in 1989. The second issue emerged as
a book in 1991. And the third also as a book, in 1993.
The only aim of this publication is to present material that perhaps
wouldn't find any other channel of manifestation. I mean, there aren't really
that many hardcore magical magazines around anymore, right?
Contemporary occultism is one focus, but this might just as well be extended
to 20th century occultism or occultism from any age at all. As long as the
material is of interest to the readership, it will be published.
The Fenris Wolf is the main information channel for the Institute of
Comparative Magico-anthropology, and publishes material from its expeditions,
research projects, findings, archives and so on.
A new issue is being prepared for release in 1999. If you're interested
in receiving information when it's been released, please let
me know! Also, if you'd like to send material for publication, please
get in touch and let me know more in detail what you have in mind.
